Katherine J. Morneau, Esquire – Founding Attorney

Background

Attorney Katherine J. Morneau started her career at the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office, defending individuals in criminal matters. She relocated to Nashua and joined a mid-sized law firm to expand her practice to include family lawdivorce and estate planning. Most recently Attorney Morneau was a senior attorney at a small law firm in Nashua.  Attorney Morneau founded the Firm on the basis of “helping good people through tough times” with a focus on family law matters, estate planning and estate administration.

Education

Attorney Morneau attended Franklin Pierce University (formerly known as Franklin Pierce College) and received a Bachelor of Art in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. She received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center).

Elizabeth S. LaRochelle, Esquire – Staff Attorney

Background

Attorney Elizabeth S. LaRochelle (Perry) started her career at the Federal District Court for the District of New Hampshire in Concord. She relocated to the Manchester area and joined a mid-sized law firm to practice criminal law. Attorney LaRochelle has expanded her practice to the areas of family lawestate planning, and estate administration.  Attorney LaRochelle was a recipient of the 2016 Pro Bono Rising Star Award for the New Hampshire Bar Association.

Education

Attorney LaRochelle attended University of Vermont and received a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science with a minor in French and Holocaust Studies. She received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center).

Sarah A. Paris, Esquire – Staff Attorney

Background

Attorney Sarah Paris started her career as an Assistant County Attorney at the Strafford County Attorney’s Office prosecuting domestic violence offenses and representing the State during arraignment and probable cause hearings for felony level offenses.  After moving to the Manchester area she joined a law firm in Nashua to expand her practice to include family law and criminal defense.  After taking time off from the practice of law to start a family Attorney Paris has returned practicing with Attorney Morneau in the areas of family law, estate planning and estate administration.

Attorney Paris attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology. She received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center).

Sara B. Crisp, Esquire – Staff Attorney 

Background

Sara B. Crisp spent her last semester of law school working part time at Morneau Law as a legal resident where she worked closely with Attorney Morneau and Attorney LaRochelle gaining hands on experience and working with clients both inside and outside of the courtroom. Prior to joining the firm Sara clerked for the 9th Circuit Court here in Nashua and was a Rudman Center Summer Fellow working for New Hampshire Legal Assistance serving a wide variety of clients.

Sara attended Keene State College and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies. She received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law Center).

Alycia Gelin-Burr – Paralegal 

Background

Alycia M. Gelin-Burr started her post high school life by promptly joining the military where she completed 4 years as the Operations Clerk for a Military Police Unit.  Upon her discharge from the military, she began working full-time at a small law firm in her hometown where she held the position of Paralegal and Bookkeeper for eleven years.  She worked primarily in the domestic relations field but also worked closely with the attorneys on estate planning, personal injury and probate matters.

Alycia earned a Certificate and Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from Mount Wachusett Community College, while she was still in the military.

Sarah Joy Newhouse – Paralegal 

Background

Sarah J. Newhouse comes to us with an extensive background in customer service where she worked her way up from sales associate to Manager during her 7 years in the retail field.  While working full time, Sarah attended the evening program at Nashua Community College where she studied to become a Paralegal.  While still in school and working full-time, she also took on a part-time position at a law firm in Hollis, New Hampshire that focused solely on Estate Planning.  Sarah recently graduated from Nashua Community College, earning her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She joined the team at Morneau Law in 2015 and is excited to utilize her skills as a Paralegal while growing with the Firm.

Background

Abigail J. Reville brings to our team over a dozen years of experience in the practice areas of estate planning and the probate process.  After graduating with her AS in Paralegal Studies, Abbey began her career at a small, general practice firm in Nashua, NH where she was able to obtain skills in a variety of different areas of law.  Transitioning to a larger firm thereafter allowed Abbey to continue the growth of her expertise and her education as she made progress toward completing her undergraduate degree and raising a family.  Joining the Morneau Law team in 2017, Abbey brings with her both knowledge and a desire to foster the firm’s continued growth.

Abbey earned an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from New Hampshire Community Technical College and continues her coursework towards her Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Language at Southern New Hampshire University.

Frank P. Marowitz, P.E. – Office Manager

Background

Frank P. Marowitz is a Professional Engineer and currently attending University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Frank brings a unique mix of business acumen and logistical skills to the Law Office of Katherine J. Morneau.  He has been collaborating with Attorney Morneau on business and office management matters since the Firm’s inception.

Education

Frank attended University of New Hampshire and received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.  There, he also completed the coursework toward a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering.  Currently, Frank is enrolled in the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
