To the Community We Love:

In light of the recent and tragic Atlanta shootings, and in response to the horrific displays of racism and hate shown towards Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the Team at Morneau Law wishes to publicly express our support for the AAPI community and share ways in which we can all contribute to putting an end to racism, misogyny, and hate.

As a Team, and as individuals alike, we pledge to speak up when witnessing racism, misogyny, and hate. We will educate ourselves by discussing the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Speak Up” four-step response system to coronavirus racism (interrupt, question, educate, and echo) and by attending the Bystander Intervention Training.

The Asian American Advocacy Fund provides a guide on how to take action with our elected officials to make a difference within our legal structure.

As always, it is our honor to continue to be the Legal Team you have grown to trust, and we do not take that responsibility lightly. We hope that you will join us in making our community more inclusive and safer for everyone.
