New Year – Fresh Start

New Year – Fresh Start: The New Year Gives You Time to Evaluate Your Priorities

I wanted to take some time out from all the holiday cheer and address a serious situation that I find many of our clients and soon-to-be clients are in this time of year. Now that 2016 is coming to a close, now is a great opportunity to reflect upon the last 365 days. Sadly, some find that the days weren’t as pleasant or joy-filled as they should have been, due to being in an unhappy or unhealthy relationship. The New Year is a chance for a fresh start!

Maybe you’ve been unhappy in your marriage and have considered separation or divorce, but decided to wait until after the holiday season? Perhaps you both put on a smile and made the best of your situation for fear that you would ruin the holidays for the children or other family? Are you in a position where you want out but have decided to wait until the new year to approach your partner about it?

If any of these situations (or something similar) feel a bit too close for comfort, please know you are not alone and we can help. We are here to listen to your concerns and will discuss your particular circumstances, outlining your options for you.
