I grew up in Kentucky where I attended the University of Louisville and specialized in Women’s and Gender Studies. During college I volunteered at a women’s shelter, providing support and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. After graduating from Cornell Law School I relocated to New England and have made it my home. I spent many years working as a criminal defense attorney where I helped vulnerable people navigate the legal system. I worked closely with judges, counselors, and law enforcement on the Hillsborough County Adult Drug Court to help individuals with significant substance use disorders rebuild their lives. I have a true appreciation of how the intersection of life’s stressors impacts families. As your family law attorney I will help you through these challenging legal times with compassion.

Estate planning is also an incredibly rewarding part of my practice. When my father passed away after a painfully short battle with brain cancer I was thrust into a new and confusing world of probate administration. My probate attorney guided me through that difficult time and helped me feel confident that I was honoring my father’s wishes.
