Igraduated from Western New England University School of Law in 1989 and am thrilled to have joined the Team at Morneau Law. I began practicing law in 1989 and previously worked in both small and mid-size law firms in the Hartford, Connecticut region.
I proudly served as the Tolland Probate Judge in Tolland, Connecticut from 1995-1999 and as Vice-Chair of the Tolland Town Council in Tolland, Connecticut. I previously operated my own law firm (Baker Estate Planning Law, LLC) in Glastonbury, Connecticut from 2010 – 2021 where I focused my practice exclusively in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, and Real Estate.
In September 2021, I married my wife, Michele, a lifelong resident of New Hampshire. I moved to New Hampshire in October of 2021 and became a member of the New Hampshire Bar. I began practicing law in New Hampshire in 2022 as a Real Estate attorney for a mid-sized Nashua Firm. I recently joined Morneau Law to return to the practice areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, and Elder Law. I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Lawyers (NAELA) and the New Hampshire chapter of NAELA.
I taught as an Adjunct Professor in the paralegal program at Manchester Community College in Manchester, Connecticut where I taught a course on Probate Practice and Estate Administration. Additionally, I have conducted workshops and educational seminars on assorted topics including Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Medicaid, and Probate Administration to the public and professional groups throughout Connecticut and look forward to bringing those to New Hampshire.
I currently reside in Bedford with my wife, Michele. I have two adult daughters, Emily and Jessica, and two stepdaughters, Micaela and Bridget.
In my free time, I enjoy running, biking, hiking, and boating on the lake.
